Elvira I Will Give You My Life But I'm Using It

In Mexico, a married couple fights, and the husband steps out to buy cigarettes and does not come back. His wife Elvira (Cecilia Suárez) goes looking for him, and her search keeps pulling her toward friends and family she has long kept at arm's length, among them Ricardo (Luis Gerardo Méndez). Manolo Caro leaves her standing in the doorway of the home they shared, the man's absence now part of the room.
