“The Man. The Legend. The King of Rock & Roll.”

Colonel Tom Parker (Tom Hanks) is the manager who found Elvis Presley, and he tells the story himself, with a carnival hustler's confidence and a stake in how it comes out. Baz Luhrmann follows Elvis (Austin Butler) from the family he leaves behind to the years under Parker's management. Butler stands at the microphone in the glare of the stage, and the crowd comes at him.
