“The Man. The Legend. The King of Rock & Roll.”

Colonel Tom Parker (Tom Hanks), a carny with a mysterious past, discovers a young singer named Elvis Presley (Austin Butler) and pulls him into stardom. He reshapes the boy into an icon while keeping him close, flooding the frame with rhinestones and velvet, cigarette smoke and sweat. Elvis stands alone in a gilded room, the price of transformation written across his face.
