Anabelle Leigh (Blake Lively) is a beauty queen in a small Texas town, and Elvis Moreau (Max Minghella) is an unlicensed mortician, and neither of them has a plan for what comes next. Will Geiger sets them on the road across the Texas plains, where Joe Mantegna, Mary Steenburgen and Keith Carradine fill out the people they leave behind and meet along the way. By the end of the first miles, what holds the two of them together is still hard to name.
