Elysium

“He can save us all.”

Max (Matt Damon) is a factory worker on a decimated Earth who needs to reach Elysium, an orbiting habitat where the wealthy live in gleaming houses and medical pods cure any disease. He takes a job that goes wrong, leaving him poisoned and dying, and turns to a smuggler named Spider (Wagner Moura) for passage to the station. What Max does to get there will decide whether Elysium stays sealed off from the billions below, or whether billions of people survive.
