Ema

“She has a plan.”

In the port city of Valparaíso, Ema (Mariana di Girolamo) dances in a reggaeton troupe run by her husband, the choreographer Gastón (Gael García Bernal). Their marriage is finished after they gave up their adopted son Polo, and Ema sets out to win him back by any means. Pablo Larraín follows her campaign as a question of what makes a family, and who gets to decide.
