Emanuelle and the White Slave Trade

(1978)Directed by Joe D'Amato89 min · RDrama, Horror, Thriller
“Emanuelle as you'll never see her again!”

Emanuelle (Laura Gemser) is a photojournalist who flies back to Kenya for an interview with a foreign gangster who has gone to ground in the African countryside while his criminal network keeps running. Joe D'Amato made it in 1978 as the last of his Black Emanuelle films. She is not working alone, and her tie to Susan Towers (Ely Galleani) is the human thing in a story that is otherwise mostly dark.
