Emil and the Detectives

Emil Tischbein (Rolf Wenkhaus) is a schoolboy whose only job is to deliver a bundle of cash safely to his Großmama (Olga Engl). Then a suspicious man named Grundeis (Fritz Rasp) offers him chocolate, and the money is gone. Gerhard Lamprecht follows Emil into a plan to catch the thief, and the boy goes about it with a stubbornness that his mother, Frau Tischbein (Käthe Haack), would recognize at once.
