Emil and the Detectives

Somebody lifts the money out of Emil Tischbein's (Bryan Russell) pocket on the bus to Berlin, and the thief turns out to be a crook with a talent for digging tunnels. Peter Tewksbury sends Emil after him through the city, where Gustav (Roger Mobley) pulls in every friend he has to help. Emil is a stranger in town, and Gustav's crowd, loud and quick to volunteer, is the first thing that makes Berlin feel like his.
