Emil and the Detectives

Twelve-year-old Emil Tischbein (Tobias Retzlaff) just wants to get through a few days in Berlin without another family disaster. On the train he falls asleep next to the smooth Max Grundeis (Jürgen Vogel) and wakes up without his savings, 1500 marks. Franziska Buch sends him after the thief with a gang of street kids led by Pony Hütchen (Anja Sommavilla), and Emil, who had hoped to stay out of trouble, has to chase it down.
