Emil and the Piglet

Emil Svensson (Jan Ohlsson) is a small boy in Lönneberga with a talent for trouble and a soft spot for anything that needs looking after. When a piglet turns up as the runt of its litter, he decides to nurse it back to life himself. Olle Hellbom films the third of the Astrid Lindgren adaptations, and the piglet becomes Emil's friend for life, one who stays at his side wherever he goes.
