Emil of Lonneberga

A farm in Småland keeps ending the same way: Anton Svensson (Allan Edwall) shouting and his small son Emil (Jan Ohlsson) marched off to the wood shed. Olle Hellbom follows the white-haired boy through one well-meant scheme after another: a soup bowl stuck on his head, little Ida (Lena Wisborg) hoisted up the flag pole. Emil means every bit of it kindly, and he sits among his carved wooden figures waiting for his father to calm down.
