Emily

“The imagination behind Wuthering Heights.”

Emily Brontë (Emma Mackey) is the strange one in a parsonage full of clever siblings, a silent young woman who prefers the moors to company. Frances O'Connor imagines the life behind the book, with her brother Branwell (Fionn Whitehead) at her side and the young curate William Weightman (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) arriving to disturb her routine. The love she feels for him is forbidden, and it threatens the privacy she has guarded for years.
