Emmanuelle

“Lets you feel good without feeling bad”

Emmanuelle (Sylvia Kristel) flies to Bangkok to join her husband Jean (Daniel Sarky), who works at the French Embassy and has already told her their marriage is open. She settles into the expatriate circle around him, meeting Bee (Marika Green) and later Mario (Alain Cuny). Just Jaeckin lets each encounter play out slowly, and the question between Emmanuelle and Jean is how much of this marriage is really shared.
