Emmanuelle

Emmanuelle (Noémie Merlant) meets Kei (Will Sharpe) on her travels, and he keeps slipping out of her reach, which she can't explain even to herself. Audrey Diwan sends her through the many distractions placed in her path, among them Margot (Naomi Watts) and Sir John (Jamie Campbell Bower), though none of them settles the pull of one chance encounter. The film comes down to whether wanting someone can ever be separated from wanting to be known by them.
