Empire of the Ants

“For they shall inherit the earth... sooner than you think!”

Marilyn Fryser (Joan Collins) sells waterfront lots in Florida, and her latest pitch is Dreamland Shores, a patch of Everglades swamp she tells a boatload of investors will soon be developed. Bert I. Gordon strands the buyers on a small island overrun by giant ants grown huge on dumped toxic waste. The lie that brought them there is a plain one, a sales trick, and nobody has to believe it for the swamp to swallow them.
