Empire State

“Based on a true story.”

Chris Potamitis (Liam Hemsworth) wants to be a cop, and when the police academy turns him down he takes a guard job at an armoured truck company instead. One careless remark about the lax security to his best friend Eddie (Michael Angarano) draws him into a plan to rob the cash stored there. Dito Montiel builds it on the real 1983 Sentry theft, where two old friends test how far loyalty stretches once money is on the table.
