Lenore Miller (Mia Kaplan), a teenager built for ridicule in her school's hallways, starts sketching clothes that fit her own body and those of her friends. She recruits Kayla (Jemima Yevu), a girl who can actually construct a garment, and begins teaching herself the business from YouTube videos and library books. Claire Ayoub shoots the designing and building in close, textured detail, letting the fabric and the friendship do the talking.
