Enamorada

Why does a general who has taken a whole town by force end up unable to take one woman's attention? Gen. José Juan Reyes (Pedro Armendáriz) rides into conservative Cholula during the Mexican Revolution, and his troops go through the town's wealth. Then he meets Beatriz Peñafiel (María Félix), the headstrong daughter of one of its richest men, and Emilio Fernández shoots the two of them in Puebla and at Churubusco Studios, her stare level and unmoved.
