“When the stone age meets the rock age.”

Dave Morgan (Sean Astin) is a high school outsider in Southern California who digs up a frozen caveman in his backyard while his friend Stoney (Pauly Shore) looks on. They thaw him out, name him Link (Brendan Fraser), and give him a shave and a change of clothes. Les Mayfield sends Link into the hallways of their school, where the dull routine of being a nobody gets a lot louder.
