End of the Spear

“Dare to Make Contact”

Mincayani (Louie Leonardo) is a Waodani tribesman in the Ecuadorian jungle who wants his people to stop killing one another. In 1956, five young American missionaries, among them Jim Elliot and Nate Saint, are speared to death by the Waodani. Jim Hanon follows the families on both sides, the slain men's wives and children and Mincayani's village, as everyone waits to see whether the killing will pass to the next generation.
