End of Watch

“Every moment of your life they stand watch.”

Brian Taylor (Jake Gyllenhaal) and Mike Zavala (Michael Peña) are young LAPD officers who patrol South Central Los Angeles, and Brian wants to document everything he sees on the job. Most of their days are traffic stops and ribbing each other in the patrol car, until one routine stop leaves a cartel's money and guns in their hands and puts a target on both of them. David Ayer shoots much of it through handheld and body-worn cameras, so you ride in the car with them.
