Enemy Mine

“Enemies because they were taught to be. Allies because they had to be. Brothers because they dared to be.”

Willis Davidge (Dennis Quaid) is a fighter pilot for Earth, and his dogfight with an enemy ship leaves him crash-landed on a hostile alien planet. The only other survivor is Jeriba Shigan (Louis Gossett Jr.), a soldier from the species he was sent to kill. Wolfgang Petersen strands the two of them with no rescue coming, and each is the only thing keeping the other alive.
