Enemy of the State

Robert Clayton Dean (Will Smith), a labor lawyer, receives a videotape documenting a political killing and becomes the target of NSA operatives led by Reynolds (Jon Voight). Within hours, surveillance satellites lock onto him, and his life splinters into flight. A former intelligence operative named Brill (Gene Hackman) emerges to help him stay ahead, but the closer Dean gets to the truth, the fewer people he can trust.
