Enemy of the State

“It's not paranoia if they're really after you.”

A videotape ends up in the hands of Robert Clayton Dean (Will Smith), a labor lawyer and family man who has no idea it records a congressman's murder. Within days he is framed for the killing, and the NSA, led by Reynolds (Jon Voight), is watching his every move. Tony Scott follows Dean as he turns to Brill (Gene Hackman), a former operative, and the film shows how little privacy an ordinary person has left.
