In Chennai, two buses are headed for the same stretch of road, and the passengers aboard each have their own mornings to get through. Amudha (Ananya) is a village girl in the city for the first time, shown around by a stranger named Gautham, while Kathiresan (Jai Sampath), a metal worker, is smitten with the nurse Manimeghalai (Anjali). M. Saravanan, making his Tamil debut, builds each story on how little these people know about the day.
