Enid

“The revealing untold story of Enid Blyton.”

Enid Blyton (Helena Bonham Carter) writes children's stories so fast and so widely read that half the country grows up on them. Her first husband, Hugh Pollock (Matthew Macfadyen), is her publisher, and her second, the surgeon Kenneth Waters (Denis Lawson), arrives later. James Hawes sets the neat, safe worlds she invents beside the tangled life she leads, and the distance between the two is where the film lives.
