Fallon Zhu (Donnie Yen) is a Hong Kong police officer who wants his old life back, but a breakup has left him over 200 pounds heavier. His superiors take away the work he loved and send him to escort convicts to Japan, where a prisoner in his custody dies for reasons no one can explain. Kenji Tanigaki, a martial arts choreographer by trade, stages the fights with the speed and clarity of his stunt-team background.
