Entre Nous

Lena Weber (Isabelle Huppert) wants a life far from the one the war handed her, and in 1942 she marries a soldier to escape deportation from occupied France. Ten years on, at their children's school in Lyon, she meets Madeleine (Miou-Miou), an art student who lost her first husband to a stray Resistance bullet. Diane Kurys follows the friendship as both marriages begin to give way, and each woman has to decide how much of her life she will trade for it.
