EO

“May all your dreams come true.”

A grey donkey called EO stands in the ring of a Polish circus, and no one around him can say what he understands of it. Jerzy Skolimowski follows him down the roads that lead away, past Kasandra (Sandra Drzymalska) and the strangers who feed him, use him, or leave him standing. The film stays low and close, on his long face and his dark, wet eyes.
