Epidemic

Lars (Lars von Trier) and his co-writer Niels (Niels Vørsel) have a few days to finish a screenplay about a plague that spreads across the whole world. Alongside their work, the film follows Dr. Mesmer (also von Trier), a physician who travels into an outbreak he believes he can treat. Von Trier is working out how fast an idea can get loose, and how little the people closest to it notice.
