“Love is the kiss of death.”

In 1942, while Korea is under Japanese colonial rule, a hospital fills with bodies and with stories that do not agree. Park Jung-nam (Jin Goo) is a medical student who keeps seeing a dead girl. Jung Sik and Jung Bum-shik tell it in three linked tales, framed by scenes from 1979, and the last one stays on a child and the parent's ghosts around her.
