Eragon

“As darkness falls, the last dragon will choose its rider.”

Eragon (Ed Speleers) is a farm boy in Alagaesia who stumbles on a dragon's egg and, once it hatches, becomes the one person who can stand against King Galbatorix (John Malkovich). The old storyteller Brom (Jeremy Irons) takes him on as a student, and Stefen Fangmeier lets the boy and his dragon grow close. Galbatorix rules the land, and his servant Durza (Robert Carlyle) is already hunting them, so Eragon's home is the price of getting this wrong.
