Erik, Duke of Helford (George Ardisson), was raised by the British, while his brother Eron (Cameron Mitchell) grew up among the Vikings, and neither knew the other was alive. In the ninth century they meet again after almost twenty years, now rivals on opposite sides of a war over England. Mario Bava stages it as a story about brothers, where blood and the place you were raised pull in different directions.
