Erik the Viking

“A Middle Ages Crisis.”

Erik (Tim Robbins) is a Viking who has lost his taste for raiding and wants to end the Age of Ragnorok, the long dark that keeps the sun from his people. He gathers warriors from his village and sets out for Valhalla to ask the gods to bring the light back. Terry Jones, who also plays King Arnulf, directs the quest in a flat, theatrical manner, as though the whole thing were a village pageant.
