“A Daring Fable of Modern Love”
Professor Leo Charpentier (Anders de Wahl) studies the sexual life of insects with a devotion he has never managed to turn on his own wife. Irene (Tora Teje) fills the house with her easygoing charm, and two suitors take notice, including the young Preben Wells (Lars Hanson). Mauritz Stiller sets a marriage, a pair of rivals and an entomologist's cabinet in one household, and what stands to be lost is the marriage itself.
