Escape

“Fear a meaningless life, not death itself.”

On the day Lim Kyu-nam (Lee Je-hoon) finishes his ten years of required service and is honored as a hero, the North Korean sergeant makes a run for the barbed-wire fence and the South beyond it. Lee Hyun-sang (Koo Kyo-hwan), a State Security officer, is sent to stop him, and Lee Jong-pil keeps the pursuit moving at a run. Behind it sits a plain idea: a man who has never chosen anything would risk his life to choose once.
