Escape from Sobibor

In 1943, at the Sobibor extermination camp in occupied Poland, a small group of prisoners are kept alive to work for the guards who kill everyone else. Jack Gold, shooting in Yugoslavia, follows Leon Feldhendler (Alan Arkin), who has long weighed an escape, and Alexander "Sasha" Pechersky (Rutger Hauer), a newly arrived Soviet officer. Feldhendler needs Pechersky's command, and Pechersky needs Feldhendler's knowledge of the camp, and neither man trusts the other.
