Estômago: A Gastronomic Story

“An adult fable on power, sex and cooking”

Raimundo Nonato (João Miguel), a young man from the provinces with no money and no connections, talks his way into a job at a small bar, then discovers that cooking opens doors nothing else will. He moves from one kitchen and one social circle to the next, sharpening his knives as he goes, until he falls for Iria (Fabiula Nascimento). Marcos Jorge shoots it as a fable, keeping the deadpan comedy and the cruelty on the same plate.
