Etoile

In 1989, Claire Hamilton (Jennifer Connelly), an American ballerina, travels to Hungary to enroll in a ballet school. Almost at once the place seems wrong, and the people around her, among them the choreographer Marius Balakin (Laurent Terzieff), say less than they know. Peter Del Monte films the school as a fever dream, so Claire's dread feels close and hard to shake.
