Eugenie de Sade

Why would a shy young woman begin to feel drawn to the man who raised her? Eugénie (Soledad Miranda) lives with her stepfather Albert (Paul Müller), a famous writer of erotica, and one day she reads one of his books. Jesús Franco adapts Sade's story into a house where desire and violence share the same rooms, and the film treats what a book can do to a reader as the thing that is actually dangerous.
