“Fear. Sacrifice. Contact.”

Six astronauts, among them pilot Rosa Dasque (Anamaria Marinca) and engineer James Corrigan (Sharlto Copley), set out to reach Europa, Jupiter's ice-covered moon, and find out whether anything lives in the ocean beneath its surface. Sebastián Cordero tells it through the crew's own recovered camera footage. Then a technical failure severs all contact with Earth, and the mission continues with no one back home to hear what happens.
