“Witness the rebuild of a legend.”

Shinji Ikari (Megumi Ogata) is a fourteen-year-old boy summoned to Tokyo-3 by a father he barely knows, and handed a job he never asked for. Giant monsters called Angels are attacking the city, and only an Evangelion mecha can fight them. Masayuki and Kazuya Tsurumaki keep Shinji close to Misato Katsuragi (Kotono Mitsuishi) and Rei Ayanami (Megumi Hayashibara), two people he is only starting to learn how to be around.
