Everybody in Our Family

Marius (Șerban Pavlu), a divorced man in his late thirties, arrives at his ex-wife's apartment to collect his five-year-old daughter Sofia (Sofia Nicolaescu) for their yearly holiday. He is told she is ill, doesn't believe it, and insists on taking her anyway. Radu Jude lets the argument spread through the whole family, with every minute pushing it closer to the police and every raised voice leaving a small girl in the middle.
