Everybody's All-American

“Their life story is a love story”

Gavin Grey (Dennis Quaid) is a Louisiana football star, an All-American champion whose hometown treats him like a hero. He marries his high-school sweetheart, the homecoming queen Babs Rogers (Jessica Lange), and then the pro career he was supposed to have goes wrong. Taylor Hackford follows the two of them as the cheering fades, and Gavin turns toward a front door where people still call out his name.
