Everything for Sale

Andrzej (Andrzej Łapicki) is a film director who has begun shooting a picture with a star that everyone expects to turn up on set. The star never arrives, and the crew, the actors and Andrzej's wife Beata (Beata Tyszkiewicz) are left to fill the days with waiting and talk. Andrzej Wajda made the film as a tribute to Zbigniew Cybulski, the actor from Ashes and Diamonds, and Andrzej goes on shooting around a man who is not there.
