Everything Went Fine
Emmanuèle (Sophie Marceau) is a writer who gets the call that her father André (André Dussollier) has had a stroke, and she goes straight to the hospital. Half-paralysed in his bed, he asks her to help him end his life, and she has to decide whether to tell her sister Pascale (Géraldine Pailhas). François Ozon keeps the two sisters at that bedside, with a father who is tired of waiting and a law that makes the request a crime.
