“It's time to take a stand.”

Erik Ponti (Andreas Wilson) is a teenager in 1950s Stockholm who has been thrown out of school for fighting, and who goes home to a stepfather that beats him. His mother sends him to Stjärnsberg Boarding School, the only place that will take him, and he promises her he will keep his head down. Mikael Håfström sets that promise against a school where older boys hold power, and where a punch thrown for self-defense is still a punch.
