Evil Does Not Exist

“Don't upset the balance.”

Why would a village close to Tokyo suddenly find its quiet under threat? Takumi (Hitoshi Omika) lives in Mizubiki with his daughter Hana (Ryo Nishikawa), until word comes of a camping site planned beside his house, built to give city residents a comfortable escape into nature. Ryusuke Hamaguchi cast non-professional actors, and the film sets what the village has always done against what outsiders want from it.
