Evilenko

The Soviet Union is coming apart, and a schoolteacher named Andrej Evilenko (Malcolm McDowell) answers the loss with a private fury that turns on the children around him. Detective Vadim Lesiev (Marton Csokas) hunts him for years, with the psychiatrist Aron Richter (Ronald Pickup) helping to read the man behind the bodies. Making his feature debut, David Grieco keeps the camera close to McDowell's face and lets the case close in around it.
