Evolution

“Coming to wipe that silly smile off your planet.”

A meteor lands in the Arizona desert, and the blue ooze inside it is already growing, changing shape within days. Ira Kane (David Duchovny) and Harry Block (Orlando Jones), a pair of community college science teachers, get to the crater before the Army does, and General Woodman (Ted Levine) is not pleased about it. Ivan Reitman keeps it loud and quick, and the whole story rests on one plain fact: whatever lives here is evolving faster than anyone can contain it.
