“Heal The Sickness”

In a suburban high school where nobody wants to sit near her, Pauline (AnnaLynne McCord) spends her hours dreaming of operating rooms and picturing the surgeries she wants to perform. Her mother Phyllis (Traci Lords) keeps pushing her toward ordinary teenage life, while her sister Grace (Ariel Winter) is sick. Richard Bates Jr. films Pauline's fantasies in saturated, bloody color and plays the family scenes as dark comedy.
